About Me
As a runner, I am captivated by historic races and routes.
Challenges of extreme endurance have always resonated with me for the stories they tell and the thrill of the unknown.
I am always seeking new adventures and plotting unique landscapes to explore under the power of my own two feet... there are
many paths yet untrodden, and I can't wait to share what comes next.
I am also fascinated by the biology that enables us to push beyond our perceived limits, and this summer I am completing
a Master’s degree in Kinesiology (exercise science) with a thesis that investigates the molecular basis of muscle fatigue.
Prior to starting my Master's I interned as an ultramarathon coach at CTS Trainright, and I enjoy blending my passion for the
ultra-trail community with my curiosity about the science of endurance and personal ultramarathon projects.
I post live updates with pictures and stories from my adventures on Instagram (see below), and during projects this is usually
the fastest way to reach me. You can also (occasionally) find me on Strava, whenever I dig my old watch out of the closet
to record a race or project run.
All writing on this site is my own (no generative AI), as are all images unless otherwise noted.
